Welcome to my UA-cam channel! My name is Dennis // Pilot Hooij and I'm a Boeing 737 Airline Pilot in Europe. At 29 years old I turned my life around, and switched careers from a Digital Marketing Professional to a Student Pilot. Now at 33 years old I'm living the dream and I have flown the first 1.000 hours on the Boeing 737-700 & 737-800 aircraft.

Dankjewel! Ja klopt. Maar afhankelijk van de noise abatement proceduren. Gebruiken ook 3000 ft. Boven drukke steden bijv.
Met welke mobiel is dit opgenomen? Zieke goeie kwaliteit! (landing was ook ziek goed) ;)

Toffe video! Alleen hoe kon het dat de first officer 3 keer moest drukken om de autopilot te activeren?
Kist was net teveel out of trim volgens de autopilot. Dan wil die niet aan;). Foutje aan mijn kant.

This is due to different frame rates between the camera and displays. In real life you don’t see this.

Zekers. Gingen zelfs diverse vliegtuigen een go around in, omdat zij een rnp approach (GPS) volgen.

I just found your channel and want to thank you so much for this upload ❤ Most of my childhood I used to live in one of the 10 tall yellow apartment buildings to the right of the runway in Prague (3:30). I knew there's an airport nearby (and as a little girl I haven't really cared too much) but nowadays, having airplanes as one of my favourite interests, seeing it now from this perspective is so cool! ^^💓

Leuke video weer! Ik zag gisteren tijdens het onweer toestellen kleine cirkels (die qua positie verschoven) maken, ipv een solide holding pattern vorm..kun je dat via de cdu/fmc doen of is dat gewoon door aan de heading knopje te blijven draaien😅? Fyi: XPlane 11 heeft inderdaad een issue met ground physics, 12 heeft dat wel verbeterd. MSFS komt binnenkort met een grote update (su15) die de ground physics zal verbeteren. Mocht je willen investeren in je flight stick: TM1600 stick is wel redelijk goed en minder gevoelig met een grotere travel, er is ook een TCS Boeing Yoke, ook heel fijn en redelijk realistisch volgens andere B737 piloten.
Dankjewel! Nee, dat gaat inderdaad gewoon via HDG select. En bij takeoff doe ik dat allemaal Manueel gewoon totdat ik eruit/er langs ben. Kijk helder! Wie weet, maar moet zeggen dat ik niet heel actief ben nu met sim.

So do Boeing pilots like You get scared to fly Boeing's plane now when all arround you " gloomy " news about Boeing company is floating around . & Does your Airline has any plans to use aircraft other Boeing if it's solely based on 1 manufacturer's aircraft or do they already have aircrafts from other manufacturers ? ( may be they r using other brands. I have not searched about your carrier's fleet )
Good question! The answer is no. We have an amazing technical department which I thrust and we fly the NG series which were and still are good aircraft. But I can’t deny that Boeing needs to do something. We are switching our entire fleet to Airbus due to the A320 series Neo being a better fit for us.
